Historical Places

There are very few places of historical interest in Nawanshahr. Only Baradari is of any general importance. This now houses the Doaba Club and has been declared as a place to be maintained by the state (as informed by Prof. B.S. Balli,Government DPRO, Nawanshahr). There are many gardens (baghs) and ponds (tobbas) in the town but none that merit a special mention.
